A program titled "6 February Earthquake and the Disaster of Our Country" was held by our University's Career Development Application and Research Center (KARGEM) within the scope of the 1-7 March Earthquake Week.
Prof. Dr. Muş Governor Avni Çakır, our Rector Prof. attended the event held at Sabahattin Zaim Conference Hall. Dr. Mustafa Alican, AFAD Provincial Director Ahmet Daşdemir and Dr. Lecturer Member İskender Dölek participated as a speaker.
At the event, the Kahramanmaraş-centered earthquakes that occurred on February 6, 2023 and the place of these earthquakes in the context of our country's disaster risks were discussed. Speakers made evaluations on topics such as the effects of the earthquake, disaster management, coordination in times of crisis and earthquake-resistant urbanization.
